Fashion Forecast | February 2026

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to the blog! I hope you're doing amazing. I also hope you're staying warm in this horrible weather. You know the drill, it's the first of the month. It's time for the Fashion Forecast! I spent a long time curating the most creative predictions I could think of for February. (I sat in front of my laptop for 2 hours each night with a glass of wine)Some of these may make sense, others are placed here solely on vibes alone. With that said, let's get into the Fashion Forecast for February 2026!

1. Furs & Fur Trim

It's still winter, so bundle up! A nice fur gives luxury, elegance, and it's chic. The it girls are bringing back furs this month. Minks, stoles, fur coats, you name it. To me, a nice fur gives a little "oomph" to an average looking cold weather look. Maybe I just grew up watching soap operas at my grandma's house, who knows.

2. Magenta/Fuchsia

I don't know if I'm sharing this because these feel like the same color, or if the color I'm thinking of is somewhere between these two. Regardless, a nice vibrant purple is always fun. I can see nails, makeup, purses, and clothes having this nice magenta or fuchsia hue.

3. "Bachelorette Pad"

You've heard of a bachelor pad and all the nonsense that men have in their homes. Get ready for the "bachelorette pad" for ladies who are single and may or may not want to mingle. It's a woman centered trend that focuses on what women want in their homes. I don't see a particular look to this trend, but showing off our spaces is going to be very big this month. It's Barbie's Dream House, not Ken's Dream House.

4. Beach Waves/ Loose Waves

Walk with me. It's Valentine's Day season. Aphrodite is the goddess of love and passion, and also was born from sea foam and is associated with the ocean (among other bodies of water). Would it be crazy to say that beach waves and loose waves are going to trend loosely inspired by Aphrodite? I think it looks good and waves and curls are often seen in a more romantic category as far as looks and fashion.

5. Empire Waistline

With the new season of Bridgerton upon us, I definitely feel like the empire waistline is going to start showing up more. This is a chance for the less curvier girls to shine because most cuts in women's fashion aim for an hourglass look. I do think the empire looks better on smaller, more narrow frames. I can definitely see this year's bridal and formal gowns having that design.

6. Borderline Brutalist Homes

I have definitely seen hints of brutalism in modern architecture and interior design. I decided to include this because I have a feeling that this look is going to trickle down to the average person, not just the wealthy. Prepare to see more stone and concrete, solid colors, bold forms and exposed materials. Think of it as the younger sibling to the industrial style (I still love exposed brick).

7. Fully Covered & Modest

For the girls who don't like to show a lot, this is for you. The fashion that we're going to see this month may show less skin. Dresses that fully cover the arms, legs, or both. I do think modest fashion can be cute and I have nothing against women who choose to cover up.

8. Honey Blonde

Honey blonde is going to be big this month. I feel like this is a shade that looks good on pretty much everyone. (when I said some predictions are based off vibes alone, this is what I meant.)

9. Corsetry

Going back to my point about romanticism in fashion, corsetry is going to be in style. Corsets, stays, bustiers, anything of the like. There's something about a nice corset that gives "my waist is snatched and my life is wonderful" to me.

10. Draping Fabric

Draping, flowing fabric is all I want to see on my timeline. We are all going to look Venusian and beautiful for the entire month.

There you have it, everyone! These are my predictions for February 2026. I hope you got a kick out of my very chaotic list. I try not to take the Fashion Forecast too seriously because this is all for shits and giggles. Let me know what you think in the comments or over on my Instagram.

xoxo,

Scarlette
