The Hottest Destinations This Summer

 Hey Babes!

Welcome back to the blog! I hope you're doing amazing. Summer is here and you decide you want to be outside, but where are you going? Don't worry, I compiled a list of hot destinations I'm sure you are going to love. These places are perfect for a summer vacation by yourself, with some friends, or even your partner. I've been to some of these places personally, so I can put you onto where to stay ad what to do. I made sure to include a vast array of places, so whether you're into a more wild party scene or a serene shore, there's something for you here. Without further ado, here are my top vacations spots for the summer.

1. Phuket, Thailand (foo-ket not fuck it)

Perfect for: A culture enthusiast who likes tropical destinations but hates crowds

Of all the places I have visited, Phuket is my favorite. Thailand is starting to gain attraction thanks to White Lotus, but the show doesn't do it justice. Mr. Dragon and I recently stayed at the Keemala resort, and it was the most luxurious experience. The Tree Pool House (We-Ha) was nothing like I imagined. The view from our villa was to die for and the staff was kind enough to include a personal care set in our room. The resort had an immaculate spa and offered holistic activities.

We visited the Big Buddha, saw elephants at the Green Elephant Sanctuary, and watched a Mauy Thai fight. The beaches are incredible and the people are friendly. It's the perfect intimate spot for a romantic getaway. I truly believe a walk along Bang Tao beach would heal anyone. The only downside would be the humidity, other than that it's perfect.

2. Jeju Island, Korea

Perfect for: A nature lover who likes peace but hates boredom

Do you like oranges, hiking, and Snoopy? If so, this is the spot for you. The island has a calming atmosphere, perfect for anyone who just wants to relax and release their stress. It's a bit slow and smaller compared to Seoul, so that's a plus. Keep in mind, Jeju is mainly known as a vacation spot so you may run into other tourists. You'll love the scenic views on the island. Anyone who love outdoor activities will love Jeju Island.

Did I mention Snoopy Garden? That's right. Have fun exploring the intricate exhibits at this museum dedicated to the beloved Peanuts characters. Also, you haven't had an orange until you've had an orange from Jeju. They grow them organically here and somehow they just taste better. If views matter to you (and of course they do) I would recommend staying at either Parnas, Shilla, or The Seaes.

3. Ibiza, Spain

Perfect for: A trendy socialite with a never-ending Instagram story

The party doesn't start until you walk in! Ibiza is known for being the nightlife capital of the world. It has a vibrant club scene and holds eccentric music festivals. From traditional nightclubs, beach clubs, and even boat parties, you'll be living it up all night long.

Even if you don't want to party until 6am, there's still something for you. Ibiza is perfect for art lovers. With beautiful beaches, museums, and traditional taverns, your Instagram story will be legendary.

4. Amalfi Coast, Italy

Perfect for: A hopeless romantic who wants a "La Dolce Vita" moment

Just southwest of Italy, the Amalfi Coast is perfect for anyone who wants a vacation straight out of a romantic movie. The scenic views are to die for! You're going to love taking a walk in the Villa Cimbrone Gardens, or maybe shopping in Positano. If you're feeling adventurous, go see the ruins of Pompeii.

The people really make the stay worthwhile. The natives are very warm and friendly. When we stayed, it was almost like spending time with family. One thing Amalfi is known for is lemon liquor. Be sure to try the local limocello during your stay.

5. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Perfect for: an extrovert with more energy than the Energizer bunny

There's always something to do in Rio! We've all heard about Carnival, Christ the Redeemer, and beaches like Ipanema and the Copacabana blah blah blah. Pop culture has really done Brazil dirty because we only hear about the popular tourist spots.  Have you ever been to Spicy Fish or Oro? They're perfect if you have a more experimental palate. If you're a seafood lover go to Mee or Escama. Nobody cooks better than natives, so try some local hole-in-the-wall spots.

For entertainment, I recommend the Theatro Municipal for all performing art fans. Museum fans will love the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil. For shopping and fashion, I love Garcia d’Ávila, Village Mall, and H. Stern.

6. Bali, Indonesia

Perfect for: A baddie who wants a good time without sacrifice

There's a reason Bali is such a popular destination. Good weather, good food, and an even better price range. Bali isn't expensive at all, so if you want a luxury experience without breaking the bank, look no further. I personally think Bali is nice for someone who wants a peaceful vacation. It's truly a luxury experience. Top quality hotels, spas, and restaurants. Ubud and Kaveri are for the girls who want quality service and the best pics for Instagram.

Be sure to check out the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary! If you're a fan on tranquil beaches, visit the Kelingking Beach, Nusa Dua, and cleanse your soul at Uluwatu Temple. For hotels, you can never beat the Ritz Calton and Four-Seasons.

7. Glacier National Park

Perfect for: An adventurous soul who doesn't like being traditional

Okay maybe you don't want to go to the beach. Maybe you hate sand, very Anakin of you. Glacier National Park is the place for you! If you're craving something different this summer, Glacier National Park offers jaw-dropping mountain views, turquoise lakes, and endless hiking trails. It’s ideal for solo travelers or friend groups who want to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Stay at The Lodge to compliment that natural yet chic vibe.

Glacier National Park is ideal for anyone who likes camping, fishing, and tasting local brews. You can take boat tours and explore neighboring towns just outside of Whitefish.

8. Kamakura, Japan

Perfect for: A quiet soul who romanticizes everyday life

Kamakura is a charming coastal town just south of Tokyo, only about an hour by train, making it a perfect day trip—or a peaceful weekend retreat. This spot is beloved by both locals and tourists for its blend of history, nature, and slow living. If you’re someone who enjoys journaling in a café, sipping matcha by the beach, or wandering through bamboo groves, Kamakura will feel like a Studio Ghibli dream.

Visit the Great Buddha, explore Hasedera Temple, or take a long walk down Yuigahama Beach. For a cozy place to stay, check out boutique inns or traditional ryokan like Kishi-ke, where you can experience Japanese hospitality at its finest. The energy here is soft, spiritual, and healing—perfect for those craving peace over party.

Honorable Mentions:

  • Dubai – Another luxurious escape with amazing architecture, desert tours, and glamorous beach clubs. It’s ideal for those chasing vibes, but not the best for anyone anxious about crowds or tourist pricing traps.

  • Kuala Lumpur – A vibrant city with diverse food, rich culture, and beautiful skyline views (hello, Petronas Towers!). Just be ready for some serious tropical heat.

  • Perth, Australia – Underrated but full of charm. Great for wine lovers, beachgoers, and anyone who enjoys a more laid-back Aussie experience without the intensity of Sydney or Melbourne.

No matter your vibe—romantic, adventurous, luxe, or lowkey—there’s a destination out there that’s perfect for your summer escape. Whether you're strolling through temples in Kamakura, sipping limoncello on the Amalfi Coast, or dancing the night away in Ibiza, I hope this list inspires you to book that trip and live it all the way up. You deserve a break, a tan, and a million memories.

Let me know in the comments where you're planning to go, or if you have any fave travel spots I should check out! Until next time—pack light, stay cute, and always travel with your heart open.

xoxo,

Scarlette
