Slice of Life #1 | Yoga, At-Home Date with Alex, Exploring The City

 Hey Babes!

Welcome to The Pink Dragon blog! Today, I decided to share what my typical day looks like. A lot happened, I finished decorating my apartment, Alex came back from a business trip, and I'm finally starting to learn my way around Seoul. If you don't know, Alex and I used to live in Singapore but we moved to Seoul a month ago. As much as I'm going to miss Singapore, I can always visit. Without further ado, here's everything I did in a day.

Yoga, Self-care, and Staying in

I don't know about you, but I like to consider Monday as the actual start of the week. At the beginning of each week, I like to practice my self-care ritual. As I set out my mat by the pool, I reflect on how I'm feeling at this moment. I take a moment to release any negative thoughts I have. I love doing yoga, it's my favorite part of my fitness routine. Yoga really give me the opportunity to be mindful and listen to my body. After that's done, I take a nice bath and do my morning routine. There is no need to hurry right now, I'm focused on my present moment. Once I'm done, I have the whole day to do what I want. I don't have a to-do list on Monday, as I try to make the start of each week as enjoyable as possible.

Decor Progress and Baking

I like the idea of moving to new places, and the glamour that comes with it. In reality, it's much more grueling. I'm proud to say that I have finished decorating our apartment...for now at least. I feel content with what we have right now and the extra details I added. In the future, I may add or get rid some things. Alex and I don't move very often; we just moved to Seoul. To reward myself for my hard work, I decided to bake a nice treat for the afternoon. Cinnamon rolls are my favorite dessert, and coupled with a nice wine and good music, I feel absolutely alive!

Alex Comes Back From Kyoto

Alex Kim likes his privacy, so I won't tell you what he does for work. I will say that he makes enough for us to both live comfortably, and I don't have to work if I don't to. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, Alex and I plan out a date. Because of his schedule, we don't always spend time together, but we both make an effort to spend time with each other on these three days. Alex came home Wednesday night from a business trip in Kyoto. He brought back gifts for me and Pesto. I could tell he was a bit fatigued from travel, so I suggested we stay at home for date night. We cooked together and made a dish he ate in Kyoto.  It's always nice to do things together as a couple. We ate our homemade dinner while watching a good movie. We even had some sake that Alex brought back from his trip.

That is all for now. I hope you enjoyed a little peek into my personal life. I'll be posting every Wednesday and Friday.

With Love, Gabi
